What’s the difference between a bathroom and a bedroom vanity?

A bedroom vanity is a table with drawers and compartments that often has a mirror attached. A bathroom vanity also often has an attached mirror; however, this type of vanity also contains a sink, faucet, and different styled drawers.

If I already have a bathroom vanity, do I need a bedroom vanity table?

It’s actually beneficial to have both. A bathroom vanity is the center of a lot of bathroom activity (e.g. brushing your teeth, combing and styling your hair, etc.). However, a bedroom vanity is more geared towards women and is the place where they apply make up, jewelry, etc. It’s more delicate than your typical bathroom vanity. If you try to use your bathroom vanity to apply make up, jewelry, etc. you’ll find that it just doesn’t have the functionality, and more importantly the style and grace, a bedroom vanity table supplies.

What are bedroom vanities made of?

Vanity tables are made using many different materials. Some popular materials include:

How much assembly is required with a bedroom vanity table?

Assembly varies from vanity to vanity. Some are solid tables and require no assembly whatsoever. Others come disassembled and have many parts; which requires a significant amount of work.

How mush assembly time is required for bathroom vanities?

Bathroom vanities typically come in one piece. However, not all bathroom vanities come with a sink or mirror. You will have to install the sink and in some cases mount the mirror to the wall.
